Civic Persona
Þóra Sharptooth (Who's Who entry) discovered the SCA in the Shire of Nydderdwhee, Kingdom of Atenveldt (now the Shire of Glaedenfeld, Kingdom of Meridies), in A.S. IX. From A.S. XIII to A.S. XLVI she was a subject of the East Kingdom in the Shire of Frosted Hills. She chose a Viking persona in A.S. XX, before which time she was variously known as Katherine de Scott, Mariamne Astruc, Mariamne bat Yusuf, or Rose de Beauchamp. She was made a thegn of the court of Thorvald and Svava in A.S. XXXIX. She is a founding member of House Truestring. She established Hrim-Schola, the annual East Kingdom teaching event celebrating the fiber arts. She is a charter member of the Worshipful Company of Narrowworkers of the East Kingdom. She currently resides in the Province of the Mists, Principality of the Mists, Kingdom of the West.
Feudal Lineage
Þóra was a protegée of Master Arnoff Ragnarsson before he GAFIAted. Subsequently she apprenticed to Master Huginn Hrothgeirsson (in the feudal line of Merowald de Sylveaston) for 48 hours before becoming a third-generation research Laurel in A.S. XXVII. She has taken five apprentices, four of whom have since been elevated to the peerage:

- Mistress Dwynwen of Padstowe (aka Danabren Madadh-Mara, aka Soga Mememe) (East)

Historic Persona
Þóra Sharptooth lives on a small stead not far outside the bustling, smelly city of Jorvík (York) in the Danelaw. Her brother-in-law is the jarl, but he has no wife so she keeps the keys. The year is 950, and Eirikr Blodax is in charge.
