Archery Practices

The Barony of the Westermark schedules target archery practice on the third Sunday of each month at San Francisco Archers in Pacifica. The Baronial Archers are very likely to be found shooting at the range every Sunday afternoon, if you would like to join them.

The Range is quite well equipped, with a wide range of field target distances, a field dedicated to Clout shooting, and an extensive walking trail with targets at a variety of distances. Instruction, and free loaner equipment is available. The range is open 7-days a week. Since the range is in Pacifica, it is clearly part of the Barony of the Westermark. We have a friendly competition going on with our neighbors in the Shire of Cloondara, who have put forth some outlandish allegations about the ownership of the range. In the spirit of good sport, we are allowing them to compete with us, but we know the true ownership of the range clearly belongs to the Westermark.

Directions to San Francisco Archers:

From San Francisco: Take 280 South to Highway 1, go south to Pacifica. Take the Sharp Park Road, Fairway Drive exit and make a right onto Fairway Drive. Go across the freeway and make a right onto Lundy (not marked), travel 100 yards and make a left at the sign.

From the Peninsula: North on US-101 North towards San Francisco. Take the I-380 West/San Bruno exit (I-280). Take the Avalon Drive/Westborough Blvd exit turn Left on Westborough Blvd. Continue on Sharp Park Road, at the bottom of hill make a left onto Lundy (before the bridge) go through the stop sign. Go 100 yards, make a left at the sign (the one on their homepage).
