Chateau Rose
La Compagnie du Chateau Rose is a loosely organized group in the Principality of the Mists. The members mostly live in the Shire of Crosston.
The members camp and dine together at events, host occasional parties and workshops for the populace, and encourage in-character interactions of a festive fashion.

Our Virtues
Arts: To cultivate a beautiful and graceful appearance, through clothing, food, encampment, entertainment and other accouterments befitting the nobility.
Service: We are gracious hosts, who will offer you a beverage of your preference as soon as you enter our camp. Our only desire is one of pleasurable company!
Courtesy/Chivalry: Our emphasis is on courtesy and while our conversation does not always lend itself to gentle pursuits, we do not encourage gossip and bitterness within our circle. Leave it at the door, or you will be asked to leave.
Nobility: Sprezzatura, grace and elegance in all things; we welcome all for whom attaining the qualities of a courtier is imperative.
Encampment
We aim for a mostly accurate pre-1600 encampment. Much of our emphasis is on the 16th century, but we appreciate other eras as well. We try very hard to avoid modern accouterments.
Persona Hour
Our "persona hour" is a cocktail hour in the afternoon which we open to the populace at various events. Anyone is welcome to come to our camp as long as they attempt to speak in period during that hour. We're not very strict -- you just have to try! It's fun! Also, we'll ply you with drinks and food, while we all play historical games (including gambling), sing period songs, and tell stories. Just for one hour.
