Description
Counts and Countesses have reigned as King or Queen. One standard English alternate title is Earl -- this is the exact same title as a Count.
From the West Kingdom College of Heralds Website:
"These are folk who have served as King and Queen once. Again their coronets give them away. These are embattled, and may have additional personal decoration as well."
Honorifics
Counts and Countesses may style themselves as Count name or Countess name, or may use other language equivalents (i.e., Earl, or Contessa ...).
