Esmeralda of the Lakes

Viscountess Esmeralda of the Lakes, formerly from the Kingdom of Caid, is now a proud resident of the Principality of Cynagua, located in the birthplace of the SCA, the Kingdom of the West. She is the wife of Viscount Achilles of Sparta, Orkney #4.

She served as the Princess of Cynagua from July, 2011, until January, 2012, alongside her husband.

Esmeralda is a photographer who enjoys illustrating and documenting the diversity and beauty that is the SCA. Her website dedicated to her SCA photographs may be found at Esmeralda of the Lakes Gallery

Esmeralda's photographs have been published numerous times in Tournaments Illuminated, including seven covers. A collage of her photographs may be found on the back cover of the 2010 edition of The Known World Handbook. Her SCA photographs have also appeared in The Crown Prints (Kingdom of Caid newsletter; two covers), The Page (Kingdom of the West newsletter), Vox Cynagua (Principality of Cynagua newsletter), Serpent's Tongue (Barony of Calafia), Tower Tails (Barony of Dun Or), The Baronial Banner (Barony of Starkhafn), The Adventures of Baron Malcolm, Vision Magazine (on-line), etc.
