James Greyhelm
James Greyhelm joined the SCA in AS 3, and is a Duke, Knight, Pelican and Laurel. He reigned as King of the West 8 times, each time with Duchess Verena of Laurelin.
Many important events and practices were created during his early reigns, including the rule of not striking at or below the knee and the creation of the titles of Count, Earl and Countess. In AS 24 he moved to AnTir, reigning once as Prince of the Summits with Estefania Ortega de Santiago. He currently resides in the Shire of Myrtleholt, Principality of the Summits, Kingdom of AnTir. Still active, he has been fighting for 42 years.
