Welcome to the In The West Wiki

This is a un-official wiki for the West Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism. What does that mean?

• The West Kingdom is the oldest kingdom in the SCA. It presently encompasses Northern California, northern Nevada, Alaska, Japan, Korea, and the Pacific Rim, having split off several other kingdoms over the course of its history.
• The SCA is an international group dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe.
• A wiki is a website that everyone can edit. So join up and spread your knowledge to the Knowne *World!
• To create your own page or edit an existing page you must create an account first at User Login.

Ideas to Get Started

• Create a page for yourself (Best practice is to leave your title off since it is subject to change; also don't forget to categorize yourself as a person with the [[Category:People]] tag)
• Create a page for your household
• Create a tutorial for creating a (insert awesome item here)

Featured Tutorial

Creating a New Page

1. Log in, if you aren't already logged in. (Click "log in/create account" in the upper right corner to log in or to register so you can log in.)
2. Go to the "Search" bar on the left hand side of the page and type in the name of the page you wish to create.

   For example, Type in: "Sindri Uthersson"

3. Click "GO" (Its important to click "go" here, and NOT "search"). It will tell you that there is "no page titled Sindri Uthersson." In red, it will state "you can create this page"
4. Click on "Create this page."
