Marie Hill Ranch
Location
Marie Hill Ranch, 43700 Highway 128, Cloverdale, CA 95425.
Also known as "The Sheep Ranch"
(If you are using a online mapping program, try this address: "36098 Highway 128, Cloverdale, CA 95425", but know that you really are seeking 43700 instead. This is a very rural area, at the edge of two county borders, so the roads are not well mapped electronically...)
(This address: 43700 California 128, Yorkville, Mendocino, California 95494 (or just: Ingram, CA) worked well in Google Maps - apparently Cloverdale (Sonoma county) is part of the mailing address for the physical location in Mendocino county.)

About the Site
This site is very pretty, in the floor of a small valley with a stream running through. Weather in May can be wet, be warned.
The site permits you to drive to unload and setup your camp. After unloading, you are requested to re-park your vehicles a fair distance away (1/4 mile), so plan accordingly.
There is no guarantee of water on site, so please make sure you bring water for drinking and washing. The water that IS on site (spigots and creek) is not potable.
Site Rules:
In most years, there are certain terms with which we have to agree to rent the property:
- No ground fires. Only contained, attended, and above-ground fires, with a fire extinguisher within 20 feet, are allowed.
- We are restricted to the areas we have rented. Do not go into the hills or woods surrounding the site. This is where the owner has put the sheep for the duration of the event.
- Absolutely NO pets are allowed on site. NO exceptions.
Hotels:
If you will not be camping, there are some hotels in Cloverdale, which is about 30 minutes east from site, and Ukiah, which is about 40 minutes north of site, and some bed & breakfast places in Boonville. Call ahead for reservations.
