Theodora Groves (Registered Name) (Prefers the name Theiadora Groves, nickname Theia)

Theiadora Groves is an active member of the Society living within the Canton of Hawks Haven, in the Barony of Darkwood, in the Principality of the Mists. She is one of the Peers in House Verthandi, in which she and her lord Baron Sveinn Ulfsson are members. She originally started in the Barony of the Far West, and after a brief stint in the Kingdom of Caid, came back home to the Kingdom of the West.

Theia is a well known Pelican, and is often found working or just helping out (she swears there is a difference). She enjoys learning and sharing new skills. Her interests include Tablet weaving, Naalbinding, Embroidery, Jewelry making, Viking chain knitting, making cordials, making cheese and cooking. Theia finds keeping busy is her favorite past time. And on occasion can be found drinking and hanging around campfires.

Persona Info

Mistress Theiadora Groves (OP) was the daughter of a wealthy English merchant. Her father would bring her many treasures from around the world, so she has many interests and styles of clothing to choose from. Sometimes, she would join her father on these journeys, where she met an adventuresome Norse man, who had a flair for archery and an eye for her.

Interests and Studies

Not having completely settled on a particular century or country for her persona (though she has been enjoying the varied intriguing aspects about Norse Culture of the Migration Era for a number of years now), she enjoys wandering through what many cultures have to offer. She is sometimes distracted by the other cultures enough to play in Italy, or England, and eventually would like to find the time to make a German outfit. It’s the jewelry that compliment the outfits that distract her, and the desire to learn how to make them as well as the costuming.
